STATUS
Completed – Analyzing results
As part of Dr. Hoppmann’s research program, the overarching goal of this project is to better understand how close personal relationships impact health and well-being in older adults. The specific purpose of this study is to understand how relationships with close others shape each other’s health behaviours, social interactions, and experiences in the current pandemic. The results of the study can provide insight into what older adults can do to maintain their well-being given the current circumstances.
This project is currently in the final stages of analysis. The study was entirely virtual and questionnaire-based and involved twice-daily online surveys over the course of 10 days. Results will be published soon. For more information: https://blogs.ubc.ca/alliesinhealthstudy/
